Alienation of photos by patch elements

The following pictures show different types of alienation with some photos from the picture catalog.

Some photos were taken from Streamline Worldwide Radio.

Far Flossies
Photos from the harbour of Dusseldorf with "Flossies" at the building on the opposite side.

After starting a picture form the catalog a sequence begins like the one on the left hand side. Parts of the picture with the highest density of similiar colors are filled with squares. Squares are painted in an inverse color and are enlarged in some steps.

At the end of this sequence the squares are opened and filled with a color form the underground.

The whole sequence is permanently repeated. It will be modified when entering the picture with the mouse.

2. Lago Maggi

3. Cuba libre

3. Camels by Night

Positioning the mouse over picture will lead to new square generations depending on the color of the mouse position. The sequence is the same as the starting sequence.

This sequence is repeated as long as there is no mouse movement. Moving the mouse will lead to new color and square selection.

Mouse clicks will introduce a new sequence where one or more tears are generated.

The main tear will be patched with squares. The color of patches is synchronized with the picture background.

The sequence ends by generating a heap at the central crossing of tears.
