Presentation of flickering intensity values

Video
This page shows fractals whose computed values are presented as flickering areas.
You will find information
about the computation of the fractals with Fatou
sets and to the presented values of intensity under the menu bar “Fatou
sets”.
The computation uses time-variant iterations among 1 and 500. The constant term c
of the formulas is also used time-variant as c(t). The image coordinates are
variable during the image sequences due to the optical impression.
Flickering areas correspond to regions where the common computation on base of the actual rate of iterations leads to finite values, which are mostly displayed black by other
authors. Here these areas are computed by a fuzzy operation (note fuzzy distance) with a
result of an either
positive or negative value, which are displayed differently.
Other coloured regions show infinite values in the iteration process. The recording rate and the replay frequency
are adjusted with 25 images per second. Some of the flashes correspond to one step of iteration as consequence of the fuzzy
operation which leads to many flash frequencies of 25 Hz also.
